This is one of the illustrations from Options 2023 calendar that follow an imaginary character through the 12 steps of recovery as an addict in recovery might portray them. The artist Scott St. Clair is a reentry client in Options’ Reentry through the Arts program who produced the art for this year’s calendar. An illustration of each of the twelve steps of recovery used in Options’ programs is provided for each month of the year. Also, quotations are provided from some of Options’ clients who celebrated a full year clean and sober at Options during the past year. This piece represents Step 7 (Asking for help) and uses it to ask for your help and support.

$5 because every $1 that goes to intervention and recovery saves $5 in societal costs associated with the cycle of crime, broken families, and homelessness caused by addiction
